Tip for today. Repurpose gear.

One of my favorite lenses to shoot video is the Zeiss CP.2 50mm T2.1.  It is amazingly sharp, smooth and a just a pleasure to use.  Most of the Hasselblad gear I had is long ago sold, BUT I still have a late CFE 80mm 2.8 and it has that magic Zeiss look. It lacks the multi blade iris and gears for follow focus, but if you have one around, grab one of these CF -> EF adapters (Canon users).  You’ll enjoy beautiful video, silky smooth focus and great bocah you won’t find in one of your EF lenses.
